Hi guys,

I have pansat converted 2700 with puff 299 as the last bin. I'm hesitant to load emu bins because I have a laptop and usb to serial cable doesn't work with my receiver. So I have been using my neighbour's desktop to load the bins. I was reading the instructions to load emu bins and I wanted to clarify whether I could unplug the receiver and if so, for how long I could leave it unplugged without putting it through non stop PUFF roll. Thanks in advance.

Get fwanky 203
C/P
Minor video freezing fixed.

After loading this bin to receiver and receiver reboots you will lose your channel list.

I recommend doing the following to get the v203_PUFF bin to work for you as there are still some small issues with the bin.
One of the other issues besides losing channel list is that sometimes receiver may seem to lock up, you could either
reboot receiver or wait around 20 seconds as receiver will unlock and be functional again.

The New F-EMU bins are a bit unstable so for those who don't know How to Jtag it may be best to wait for feedback from others.

Load Fwank7_Jvvh-Team-PUFF_V203_F_EMU to reciever.
After write is complete reciever will reboot with No Channel List.
English ( OK on remote)
Antenna Setup settings should still be there.
Blindscan first Sat (EX. ECHO 7), after channels come in Exit ALL the way out.
" Reboot Reciever ".

If remote is not responsive when you try to EXIT, just power off from the back,
wait 10 seconds and power on again... All scanned channels should still be intact!

Put in Antenna Setup settings for second SAT (EX. ECHO 8,10).
Blindscan second Sat, after channels come in EXIT out to Picture.
Should be good to go..

If that fails try the following.

Push Menu on remote.
System Reset ( 0000 ).
After reciever reboots to ON.
Put in Antenna Setup settings for first SAT (EX. ECHO 7).
Blindscan first Sat, after channels come in Exit out to Picture.

Turn A/R OFF (except Key Code) if your reciever has rebooting issues.

You can leave it off for as long as you want. It won't hurt it at all.

Thanks to Jvvh5897 for showing us the way once again.

I have tested the following personally on 2 recievers for over 10 hours.

-Don't lose channel list at all not even after loading bin to reciever. Tested that on 3 recievers.

-Powerd OFF reciever from back switch for 3 hours then turned reciever ON channel list remains.

-Powerd OFF/ON reciever from back switch over 10 times channel list remains.

-Turned OFF with remote for 3 hours and came back ON no problems.

-Used Channel Master to read reciever No problems.

-Used Channel Master with old Channel List and wrote to reciever No problems.

-Still tried scanning All Sats and All good there as well.

-Still get the odd black screen but that happens on Original 2700 also.

Don't think I missed anything else.

Turn A/R OFF (except Key Code) if your reciever has rebooting issues or "SOBC" Nag issues.

I am still using V202. It is working fine w/ sat 110, 119. I don't need to rescan any channel lists.
