If you are loading bin 201g, and your receiver has any rolling puff bins, then you no have to rescan, but the STB will has less channels, You have to rescan after you load bin g and do factory setting, set up lnb,s etc, and you will have more channels than any other bin.
also you can now use ch.master or save your channel list using BL loader 27.01( name it channels list xx other ways BL loader 27.1 doesn't recognize it) do it this( connect STB to PC,turn ON, let it go all the ways , when showing a ch#,open loader 27.01, and click on channel list ,then click on upload and "save", after you can load your ch. list by click on channel list and click on download, It's like as donwload a bin.
i didn't have to rescan.....and had no problems with 201g at all....i simply loaded it as always....and my channels were still there.....freezing problems are lessened and no missing channels....
The bin jvvh 201g works 100% a little slower after the second F, but you can turn off and turn on the back. If you have problems, do a factory reset and put back the 299 and configure sat. a blin scan and ready to see
