Hello Everyone,
I am presently experiencing this problem with my Sonicview 4000 Receiver. The problem that I am experiencing is I am getting NO Signal on my television screen. Whenever I do a blind scan on my receiver, I am seeing all the channels appearing and also my signal strength. When I exit out of the menu, I am getting No Signal appearing on my television screen. I hooked up, another receiver to the same cable coming from my dish, and I am getting picture and also signal strength. I change my LNB type to Universal and Single in thr Dish Setting Menu and it is not working. I flashed my receiver with the Factory bin then with SV4000_V0249P_Charlie_Fixed_081308.bin and it is still not working. My Setup is as follows:

1 12ft Solid Prime focus Dish
2 California Amplifier for Prime Focus Dish
3 Single Cable run from the LNB straight to the Receiver.

I would grateful if you can assist me in having my problem resolved. Thanks in advance.

I don't have proof of this
But I'm suspecting newer ECMs designed to cause conflict especially when yo do blind scan

This is what I would do:
- Load newest bin
- Do factory default
- Do not do blind scan
- Do channel sat scan or TP scan
- Do and test one sat at a time

- Come back and tell me how this worked for yo

With the equipment listed above what
satellite on C-band are you trying to scan in?
What make and type LNB are you using?
