You need to give them more info. Has it ever worked? If so, how long? If not, maybe it's broken and you need a new one. Did you check if they needed new batteries? IF there are brand new batteries, and you know for a fact that the remote works, click on the STB button, then try to change the station. Sometimes, my daughter hits the Tv, AUX, DVD button and I have to click on the STB button and it works fine.
