It is always best to be sure you have all the transponders active on a satellite and just scan it using your receiver. You can use this page http://www.lyngsat*com/america.html to look at what transponders are active. Their are "spot beam" channels that will only work in certain parts of the USA. So for an example If I here in OKLA give you a channel list from my receiver and you live in lets say New Mexico you would see on the list OKC-TULSA locals and NOT your Locals. You can however, after you scan the sat's you receive use channel master or (ODSEdit ((channel master is NOT viewsat friendly))for viewsat's avalable at viewsatusa.com) yourself to modify your channel list...I do that all the time deleting channels I do not want, change channel names, etc..... |
