2500 is no longer supported they don't make any bin files for it anymore or should I say that BL hasn't made one for a while...so people are converting them into 2700 because they are still programing 2700s but who knows till when... looks like that 2700s will end soon but as I said no one knows when...
In the future you may not be able to get a bin file for your Pansat 2500a......I have one and I'm still watching TV. I would wait to convert and make sure you can get reliable bin files when and if you do. There are so many 2500a's out there someone may come up with a real reliable idea in the near future.
Thanks for the info - I can still get the channels I want on the old bins - A little pain with the keys but OH Well. If I upgrade to a new reciever what do you recommend
