I have a Sony 50" Rear Projection TV that is about 4 years old and has a DVI HDCP connector on the back pre-HDMI era. I have heard about a Sony Upconverting DVD player that is supposed to be really nice but the upconverting is only available through it's HDMI Out connector. If I were to purchase one of those HDMI to DVI converter cables would that give me a total conversion or will I have unwanted video artifacts - pixelation etc. Can someone help me out?
