w/ the introduction of Toshiba's 2nd gen. players that are fully 1080p, what happened to all the customers that bought the 1st gen. players. do they get a upgrade, a rebate, or are they crap out of luck. i know someone that bought one. did toshiba do this so simply they would be the first w/ hi-def disc to the market and that they fully knew less then a year that they would introduce a 1080p player.
