Bronze Member Username: Tdti1Post Number: 23 Registered: Mar-05 | It is very easy to slave a dvb receiver to a older analog ird or 4dtv receiver, take a look here: http://www.dmsiusa.com/add_a_receiver.htm If you only have C-band then of course you only split the C-band coax, though if you do not have c/ku It is well worth the upgrade, also if you do not have a 4dtv yet, it is a great investment. Make sure you get the right splitters not to damage anything, your 4dtv or analog receiver will be the master, so you will change polarity with it, so you will need to scan H polarity, change the channel to scan V polarity. Big dish is still the best system out there. |
