Bronze Member Username: AbjPost Number: 51 Registered: Feb-06 | On your remote click menu button. Scroll down to parental control and click okay. Then scroll down to second pin and enter 0000. Then scroll down to Nagravision and click okay. Then where provider ID is use the right vol. button to scroll right to Dishnet Work. Then scroll down to key number. Then scroll right 2 times and you will then be in Nagravision2 mode and key 00. Enter the key 00 there. Then scroll back up to Key Number. Then scroll right one more time to key 01. Enter the key 01 there. Then click okay to save. Now click the exit button 4 times and you should have tv. Good Luck.... |

Does anybody have the newest keys? also, the steps for entering them manually posted earlier are not complete... Step #4 says, "Then scroll down to Nagravision and click okay." However, my setup screen has Nagravision1 AND Nagravision 2, so which one is this step referring to? ALSO, step #7 says, "Then scroll right 2 times and you will then be in Nagravision2 mode and key 00." My setup screen only has 2 sets of keys, 00 and 01 and neither of them change the way the screen is displayed. Can someone please post some exact steps as these previous steps seem to have been posted from memory. thanks. |

Gold Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 2430 Registered: Jan-06 | How to Update Public N2 Keys 1. Menu button, then scroll down and Select Parental Controls goto 2nd PIN/enter 0000. 2. Scroll down down to Nagravision press OK. 3. On the Provider ID, change the provider ID to 0001, then you will see dishnetwork right above the provider ID box, and Nagravision 1 on the top left. 4. Scroll down to key number box, Press the RIGHT ARROW twice(2 times), and you will see Nagravision 2 on the top left. 5. Make sure Nagravision 2 on the top left, and key # is 00, in the KEY DATA box, enter the new N2 key 00. 6. Make sure Nagravision 2 on the top left, and key # is 01, in the KEY DATA box, enter the new N2 key 01. 6. Confirm the N2 key 00 & 01 are correct, then press OK to SAVE the new key.
