Dave...go away now and READ...U are saking basic kindergarten questions that have beemn answered here 1000x ,IF U READ....also I linked U to a good site already...go READ there too and ask there..we do NOT answer these basic questions for non reading newbies!
BTW...Gtools and Channel Master are software utility tools used with channel lists,which U really don't need if U perform SCANS instead!
channel master is the best one IMO, i use it after a scan and order my channels myself, for a more user friendly channel list. It even has a built in printing option that lets you print out your channel lists for for coffee table use and easy tv watching. Thill, you dont use this???
