I have an old cable receiver box that is analogue and can only receive a signal via an analogue coaxial areal input. My problem however is that I have the same box, the same coaxial areal but instead I have a digital input coming through the areal. Is there anyway I can convert the digital to analogue signal still using the coaxial connection? The reason I ask this is because my receiver has been chipped and in the good old days it used to receive every anolgue channel free - movies, pay-for-view, all sport... Now however I am getting fewer and fewer channels becasue they are all slowly turning to a digital transmission. Any advice?

The old days of cable are gone. Soon, very soon, the old days of satellite TV will be gone, too. About all you can do now is enjoy unlimited blockbuster rentals for $15 per month.
