satscanner,

I agree with you 100%. When I got my receiver I had spent WEEKS reading all I could find on the topic. It took me 30 min of getting that pansat to get it working. I just got my viewsat a few weeks ago also. By the time it got here I had printed out the instructions on how to load it, the users mauual, and had all the files-bins already on the laptop ready to load it. Within 15 min of getting home with it I was watching tv. I just won on ebay a HF ham radio. I have downloaded the users manual, service manual, joined every yahoo group or forum, and every "how to" I can find to get ready to use it. Mabee its just me but I think its smarter to use your time you have to wait for the to receive the item to learn how to use a new piece than wait untell it arrived and expect someone to show you the easiest way to just get it working 1/2 way.

But thats just me
