We were watching the news when our 53" Plasma Made a pop noise and the screen turned off. we still have sound but no screen and now there is a star like crack on the bottom left and tiny air bubbles on the top right of the screen.
They reckon we broke so we got denied repair as a void of warranty... HELP!!!!! what do i do
If nothing impacted the screen......and you can prove it, than you may have some kind of case. Best of luck.
Take photos of BOTH defects if you can. don't mess with it until you DO take such photos. Have a friend with a macro lens help you. It won't be easy taking pics of such a dark surface and lighting will be critical. Use a tripod. Pictures MAY help, I hope.
Heat stress can do wonders for 'brittle' materials like glass.
