While fixing and servicing my Rear Projection TV, I accidentally pulled too hard on the connection between the Power supply and the ballast of the Intake Fan, and the wires came out. Since I can find no diagram anywhere and the wires arent colour coded, I don't have a clue in what order they are supposed to be put back!! Please help me with a picture or something of the cable, a diagram maybe?
Take a DC source and see which way the fan turns. Keep track of polarity. Can you tell which way it is SUPPOSED to turn? Measure the voltage POLARITY on the feed board. Make it match and you should be ready to go.
If it's an AC fan, it shouldn't make any difference, right?
Be real careful here. Hi voltage in the lamp lighting circuit and other places in the TV can be LETHAL. If you don't have full confidence in your ability, OR at least an OK DVM, refer this to a qualified tech.....
