Ok. I have an issue with my LG DR787T upconvert and dvd recorder. I have alot of downloaded movies from the internet- unprotected copies of movies on dvd disc. The LG plays these movie just fine with little or no issues. But over the last couple of months, it has been having issues with playing store bought dvd's or "copyright protected discs". Giving msgs like "unknown disc" or " no disc". So now the ONLY thing it will play are movies that i have put on dvd- copies. This dvd recorder is out of warranty and has been for some time. Do you think a lense cleaning would help? Im sure it wouldnt hurt, but it seems to me that it would have this issue with all disc if a dirty lense was the problem. If any of you have any ideas or thoughts, id love to hear them. Thanx
