C/P from currentbins.com site

CODE RED - DN vs. IKS
Only working boxes right now are C00LSAT 5L/6K with R-Link and Dreambox DM-100, Sonicview (Limited/Freezing)

CNX, I-Link, Satzen, Kbox Beta and C00LSAT all were observed to drop on DN at a few minutes past 1PM Eastern Time today. This is very much like the two events observed in December. At this time the details of the event are not fully known, but the adventure now continues for IKS coding and support teams. The C00LSAT was quickly restored to service. CNX/Ilink/Satzen remained up on Bev but took massive freezing and is now down on most models. Unrelated the Sonicview iHub system has been working on the servers since last night and is now having an array of mixed results, freezing and some channels out. The Sonysat server has also been offline waiting to put its upgrade online. The Dreambox DM100 was not impacted. Waiting on word from the Neosat EKS team, as it was down on DN prior to the time of this latest event.

First of all I will say that whatever I have posted above is what is being reported at currentbins.com site. I have made it clear that it was a C/P.
Second: You joined in December, 2009 and have exactly 30 posts. If Plymouth and me were reporting a problem to the Admin, we were doing the right thing based on our assessment of a situation. You as a newbie should not be commenting on that as you have no idea of the goings on in this forum.

Now kindly stay close to the purpose of your being here, i.e. either to ask questions for help or help others in matters relating to FTA and satellite TV in general. During the current period of difficulties with viewing of TV, people are expected to also start threads in areas of interest in TV viewing. You are not expected to barge in criticizing others.
I trust you will follow this protocol.

The "event" that occurred yesterday at about 1 pm, knocking out many of the IKS sites has not disabled those sites completely. In fact, the CNX.Satzen/i-Link group are reporting recovery and are expecting to be back with most channels today.
Kbox remains without a solution.
Nfusion was disabled early December, 2009 and remains so.
C00LSAT and DREAMBOX were NOT affected and remain OK.
Sonysat is reproting recovery from previous server problems not related to the "event" of yesterday. Neosat and Nfusion EKS have yet to recover.

Further to my report on CNX, I have been informed that CNX is almost completely recovered. There remains some freezing.

The items in bold are a changed status from yesterday. While you have a site and know hour by hour the changes occurring, most of the readership does not read hour by hour and in similar situations they read day by day or every two days.

http://sonysat.org/ is saying that it is OK to update using the ShowmeX2-V2.4 file.
They are reporting only BEV working currently but are hopeful that they will have DN working soon.
