Pickup two more TPs, boy this Bird is Loaded, close too (400) Channels.

It looks like they are opening TPs as they test them.
NO SERVICES ON THIS SATELLITE LOCATION ARE AVAILABLE TO SUBSCRIBERS AT THIS TIME. THIS SATELLITE IS TESTING ONLY AT THIS TIME.
It looks like when all the TPs have been tested they will open to subscribers.

BTW you will find EchoStar 6 @ 72.7

The author of this thread didn't know 72.5W is got both DN and DTV
I made the correction and he still thinks this orbital location is loaded with MPEG

So please
Someone else advise him that DTV is never going to load on yor FTA MPEG receiver

DTV is QPSK
Since he won't comprehend my tech terminology
Please someone explain to hin in Layman's terms
Thanx in advanced

Let them attack as much as they want
I don't read what they say anyway
So I have no idea what they talking about
No need to delete
Maybe it makes them feel better this way

I'm trying to teach this ignorant what he never learned
I'm not attacking no one
Yo'll know when I'm attacking

All I'm basically saying
That he was trying to load DTV which is not compatible in hardware with FTA receivers and I know he wouldn't understand what I'm saying no matter how I say it

Maybe someone else can explain that to him
There is no attack

See the question yo asked here is truely a good question
"What type of LNB would that be?"
This is my answer without being sarcastic

LNB required is KuHi 12.2 to 12.75 GHz
LNB works the same on correct frequency
It down converts high frequency (12GHz)to below aprox 1 to 2Ghz
So any KuHi LNB will work on DTV, DN or BEV
All 3 providers use circular polarity on most of their satellites 12.2G to 12.75Ghz

But the reason why yor FTA receiver won't work on DTV
Cuz they predate MPEG-2 broadcast standards
They use something called QPSK
Which is not compatible with any FTA receiver out there
In fact I'm not aware of any FTA receiver manufacturer today
It's old technology
Very old

Hardware compatibility is tricky
Just like yo can't load MPEG-4 on FTA receivers no matter what LNB yo use

By the way
Both MPEG-2 and QPSK are Quad Phase Shift Keying
They are different in the data encoding schemes
2 different types of decoders and can not easily be converted either way without proper hardware

Doreen
I have no idea what yor talking about
I don't read yor posts
I only read White Hawk posts
So save yor time

Bobble Head King Stupid NEVER EVER UNDERSTOOD ANYTHING ABOUT FTA. He ONLY thinks he does. I say "ONLY" because he lives in a world of his own . ONLY seeing what he wants to see. ONLY reading what he wants to read. And is the ONLY one that thinks he is right.

I,ve read all of the posts on this page with the slightest curiosity regarding the topic that this post was so well titled but still find myself with that same little puzzling thought, not that it matters, as if I didn't already get those channels in multiple numbers from other various methods or sats aleady. I was still, just the same, none the less, wondering about that thing that caused me to read through all this vast Information of Super Highway Driven Posts. Therefor I will just come right out and spit. IS THERE ANY CHANNELS WORTH A SH!T ON E6?

C/P http://dishuser.org/72list.php

As Advertised, Eastern Arc Debuted today for NEW SUBSCRIBERS... there is absolutely NOTHING on EA that isn't on the standard service (western Arc). More details on the changes coming.
Due to over 600 changes in the charts today, I was unable to complete all the changes tonight. I will complete the changes as soon as possible. Nearly ALL of 72.7° channels are available to EASTERN ARC subscribers. No, you cannot just swing over your dish to pick it up... It requires a special card and new activation.

All the tp numbers are here but no TP Freqquencies at http://dishuser.org/72list.php

Lyng*sat as of now list only (tp 21) for EchoStar 6 @ 72.7 Freq.12516 V

C/P from http://dishuser.org/dishlist.php
8/24/08

INSP will be coming to Dish Network channel 259 for all subscribers on 8/27/08. It is already uplinked. This channel will also be debuting on DirecTV on the same day. This is according to a Multichannel news story. (Juan)
All the changes from last Wednesday are in the chart as of last Thursday. All of the changes dealt with catching up with making nearly all of the 72.7° channels available. Package info will be added as time allows.
New designation MP4-EA stands for MPEG 4 - Eastern Arc. Eastern Arc channels at 72.7° are not available to existing subscribers. When they are, the EA designation will disappear. Again Eastern Arc (61.5°, 72.7°, 77°) has exactly the same channels as "Western Arc" (110°, 119° 129°) with the exception of Dish Latino with is currently NOT available on Eastern Arc. There is no reason for existing subscribers to change to Eastern Arc.

That's true
But Eastern Arc is to use new receivers with new encryption ONLY
Not to be offered with older HD receivers

Current D#N HD receivers will be starting to upgrade in Feb 2009

This is their first step twards replacing current HD and replacing older systems

It's the begining of the END OF PTA
