I just got the tv the other day, and noticed something strange. When the set is off I see a faint white circle, almost like something is reflecting on the screeen, it appears dead center, about 3/4 of the way up the screen. when the tv is on you dont see it at all, even on a channel that is just a "black" screen. Seems most noticeable when the tv is off. Does anyone know what this might be?
I have exactly the same set with NO sign of similar problem. You should probably be checking for room reflections or some stray light in the viewing area. When powered down nothing we need to worry about is happening in the set. OH, get yourself a good power conditioner with surge protection. I am even thinking of a UPS so if the lights go out, I can at least shut it off without lamp problems. Great Picture, Huh?
