I got 27" Syntax Olevia LCD hooked up to both cable TV (coax) and my home made HTPC (vga). Both works fine, but it seems like there is enough delay when I play DDR via both computer and xbox, to cause my score to go down by atleast 1 letter grade. Has anyone else used this to play game, like DDR or FPS? Would DVI connection help with this? Its suppose to have very short response time, like 8 or 9ms, or is this still too long compare to CRT TV?

are you sure your syntax lcd has only 8-9ms response time, because most lcd are more in the 12-18ms range. this has always been the achiells heel for lcd but they are certain models that are in that response range, i just not sure it's your model. i have a scpetre 37" lcd(1920x1080p native resolution) that claim it's 8ms but in true tv viewing it is not(more like 10-12ms). never the less you should use a dvi connector(i'm using a dvi to hdmi cable the is hooked up to my computor), this might help if not you at less get true digital signal.

It seems not to be a LCD Response time issue.
