I purchased this model right before Christmas and it has been flawless. About a week ago, I noticed a purple vertical line coming down from the top of the screen to about midpoint. This line is right outside the black bars for the non-HD channels-so I only noticed it when watching an HD program that had a light background. I have NO clue what it's from-I have never left anything on that could remotely burn this line in. A friend suggest to play "snow" (white noise) for 24 hours to see if that cures it-not sure what the rational is but it's worth a shot. Any help would be appreciated!
