JVC av-B21T Shuts itself off - blinking timer led.

Hello, There's a problem with a JVC av-B21T. When turned on it shuts itself off withing 2 seconds. Then the timer led starts blinking and the only way to turn it on again is by cycling the power button which repeats the cycle. It has happened before (a few days ago) but then the set did turn on after a while and displayed the picture shifted down. Now it won't turn on at all. Any ideas?
