Just picked up the Sony E55A20 and the LGDVB418 upconverting DVD player. First off the Sony. This TV is stunning. SD is enjoyable while HD is out of this world. For me it came down to the Sony and the JVC HDG786. After seeing the Sony at Circuit City on a good feed it was a done deal. I've only had it a little over 24 hours and have watched a good mix of SD, HD and DVD content. All have performed well. Watched the Busch Race in HD yesterday and wow this is what TV is suppose to be. Also watched Jurrasic Park on the LGDVB418 set at 720p output and it looked great. Everything is hooked up via component have not tried HDMI. If anyone has any questions let me know. If I can answer it I will.
