I recently acquired one of these TVs and I am having what I understand is an all too common problem... when I try to turn the tv on, it powers on for a second then back off... no picture.
What is the cause of this problem? (Anyone know specifics?) And whats it going to cost to fix, assuming its the same problem everyone else is having? Is it something I could fix on my own (had to ask, heard somewhere its just a power cable inside that is too short causing the TV to think it is shorting out)
