I just had the WD-62825 delivered yesterday and wondered if anybody had any experiences using the DVR. Specifically, can a HD program from Directv be recorded?
I have the 62725, decided against the 825 since I wanted to continue to use the cable STB with DVR, and didnt think the $1500 more was worth it. I do record HD on the cable STB. It is my understanding that you can also do this with your PVR on the 825. Keep in mind that the HD takes up more space. You may get 12 hours of HD record vs 50 of standard.
