hi my name is josh. i have been having a serious issue trying to setup my tv with my home theater and my directv. i have :
32" vizio hdtv with 4 hdmi ports. rca and component ports and optic out port
directv hd receiver with hdmi, rca and optic out port
insignia home theater receiver(old style with rca and raw speaker wire setup) with bose speakers .
can anyone help me figure out how to set it up so everything works correctly? right now i have hdmi from directv receiver to tv, but the sound is from rca from directv to home theater. when i hook up my laptop with hdmi to the tv the picture works as it should but obviously i dont get any audio. can anyone help?
