hi i have a magnavox 42" plasma TV (model KM-42010P) that i received second hand without a remote and have been turning it on and off at the power button, was to be until i worked out the universal remote, when one day it wouldnt turn on. the red light is on but pressing the power button gets no response. i turned it off at the power when i turned it back on the light went green and it made the click sound as though a picture was about to display and then switched back off and the light went red again. i really hope there is a solution. i dont own any other television.
Try unpluggingg it for awhile and then turn on again if it still does not work it sound like an internal board problem and probably not worth the cost of fixing it. Panasonic plasma TC-P 42X3 is a good buy and not much more than the repair would cost.
