Hey all,

New to forum. I just purchased a NEW 51" Samsung Plasma with 2 HDMI hook ups. I have Verizon Fios (has 1 HDMI), Sony STR-DA2000ES (no HDMI) and a Sony (DVP-NS775V) DVD player (no HDMI). I need to know what cables I need for optimal sight and sound. I am positive I need to use a HDMI from Fios Box to TV, from there I am lost. Any help would be great.

How many speakers are you using? 5.1 or 2 it matters. Fios to the Tv with HDMI, digital cable from fios box to receiver. Component cable from DVD to TV and digital cable from DVD to receiver. You have to activate the digital bit stream from the DVD player. This is for a 5.1 set up.

I have been reading that Samsung and FIOS HD box have issues with each other. Any suggestions...
