I've been reading on this site about different speakers/surround sound speaker packages. I am moving from a Bose Acoustimass 10 5.1 system to an in-wall 5.1 or 6.1 depending on time and expense. I would like to continue to use the Acoustimass 10 bass unit but am looking for suggestions on speaker packages. Some consider the Acousitmass package bad while others use it in their systems. Receiver is a Yamaha RXV 765, I have the capability to run the 5.1 or 6.1. Suggestions?
The surround sound is part of a total room remodel, this will cramp the end result. Planning for the future I will put in a larger guage wire and change speakers in a couple of years. For now my budget is around a 1000.
