Posted on Thursday, June 10, 2010 - 22:45 GMT I have a Bose Acoustimass 15 Home Theater Speaker System, which has five speakers and a subwoofer, and a Yamaha Natural Sound Stereo Amplifier model AX-596. Is there any way to connect these two to each other? Perhaps not. The Yamaha amp has four speaker outlets, plus a set of connections that are marked "Coupler", with a preOut, main in (R, L). |

Posted on Thursday, June 10, 2010 - 22:57 GMT I should add: I do also have a Sony FM Stereo/FM-AM Receiver STR-DE 945, which does connect perfectly with the Bose system. But I got the impression that the Yamaha integrated amp was slightly superior to the Sony Receiver (maybe I'm wrong here!), so I was interested to see if I could use the Yamaha instead of the Sony. But maybe it's not worth it, and I should just stick with the original setup. |
