Posted on Sunday, March 12, 2006 - 16:52 GMT ricky, I'm assuming you are speaking of in-wall speakers in a 5 point surround system. One of the bug disadvantages of these is that once in, they're in....unless you want to cut multiple holes until you're satisfied, and only a crazy man would do that. If I had this opportunity, I would install the front 3 on the same horizontal plane as possible, and as close to the screen as possible. In normal rooms there has to be some compromise here, but do the best you can along those lines. The rears would be slightly to the rear of the listening position and up maybe 2 or 3 feet from ear level. |
