I just purchased the Onkyo HT780 home theater system and the Toshiba SD6980 with HDMI upconversion. I have a Toshiba (57H84C) rear projection TV with HDMI input and I am trying to hook it all up. I have the DVD connected directly to the TV with an HDMI hookup the Onkyo connected to the TV with component video. I can't get anything out of the surround sound but the DVD signal to the TV is fantastic. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
