Back Speakers for 6.1/7.1 Suround Sound

New member Username: StoneheaverPost Number: 1 Registered: Jul-05 | For the Back Speakers I need to know where to put them in a room where the couch is flush against the back wall. Can I still put the back speakers on the back wall above but to the sides of the couch. I don't really have room to move the couch forward. See drawing below:

I've been following books and guides on these setups i.e. (Dolby Digital, THX and others) I just assumed they knew what they were doing. Thanks for the advice. I will try a few things and test how they all sound. |
