I have a budget of about $2,500 - $2,800

I need an amp with 3 component inputs, i have been looking at the denon avr-3805, but that blows most of my budget and doesn't leave a lot for speakers, can someone advise me what is the best amp to get and what speakers to pair with it?

Shane,
Are you referring to video components or input for 3 different components?

Shane,

Take a look at the Pioneer VSX-1015. I believe this guy has 3 component inputs. Under $500 delivered to your door off many internet authorized dealers.

That will leave you with $2000 or more for spkrs.
Many choices out there. IMO stay away from the BB and CC type stores and go listen at audio shops. Take your favorite CDs with you.

Look in your area for dealers that carry Paradigm, B&W, Monitor Audio, Phase Technology.
All are very good. All will sound very different.
This is the fun part. You listen..you decide.

Good Luck,
Steve
