I rec'd first HT system today and need to know the best (highest quality) way to set it up. I would like to get DD out of everything, digital cable, xbox, dvd's etc. Here is the list of my components, any help would be awesome, thanks guys. Bronze Member Username: XtremehtPost Number: 13 Registered: 02-2004 | The easiest way is to run everything through the receiver. For the Xbox you'll have to get the Monster cable with the optical cable sold separately to get the surround sound and use all the same video connection either composite or s-video if your receiver has s-video switching. The just run a video cable to the TV from the receiver. |
