I bought the onkyo 6.1 surround over a year ago. So far i'm very pleased. I have credit at ultimate electronics and I was looking to upgrade the center channel and the side speakers. What do you guys recommend that will work with the onkyo receiver. I hear some polk audio at circuit city and they were defintely had better mids compared the standard onkyo speakers but they pretty expensive. I don't have a huge living room so i don't need huge front speakers but I think my surround could improve a little bit, especially on music. I mainly listen to live concert DVDs & DVD movies. Also can I use my front onkyos as rear speakers? Will a 200-300 centerchannel make that much difference compared to mine using the onkyo receiver? Any feedback would be appreciated.
Also, I heard that upgrading the speaker wire that comes with it makes a huge difference. Is this true, they have the wires at radioshack for $20.00. Would that work or do you guys recommend a different brand?
