hi all. I've decided to finally replace my 13 year old STR-D790 and build a home theater. I think I've settled on the Onkyo TX-NR901 (the networking sold me...it's a must). My question is with regards to speaker selection. I have a pair of JBL LX500's that I bought with that sony receiver so many years ago and I don't have a problem with them and thought I would start by building around them. If I do that, what direction should I go to find speakers that will complement these mains? Or is it a bad idea to use these speakers in such a set-up? I'd like to keep the total speaker budget under $2K. As a video editor, I have my loyalties as far as critical pro monitor speakers are concerned but haven't a clue as to who makes the good goods in this arena...any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
