Can anyone please help me I have recently purchased a Sony Home Theatre System (DAV-SB100), (excellent value at £150 from Amazon as opposed to £250 from Argos...). I have connected my Sky+ through to the TV via Scart. The DVD is connected to the second Scart Socket on the TV. The sound coming through is only on the left and right speakers and not the back ones. I have rung Sony and they only repeated the manual - which was not much use.
All the speakers work as I have tried a DVD and it works perfectly.
Can anyone help - am I doing something very simply wrong??
Problem resolved. Despite the particuarly useless instruction manual from Sony, there is a button on the remote control (undocumented) which changes the audio type - ProLogic etc etc. Once I selected the correct option, it all came to life !!!
