QSC 2450 Help

I have a QSC Amplifier 2450, which is a powered stereo amplifier. I need subwoofers that can handle the power of the beast. I want SPL, I want the house to shake, I want it to be so loud, ppl in cars who come near my house can feel/hear the bass. I want it to make me say, OH MY GOD SLOW IT DOWN!!!!! Any idea's? Please find a low price subwoofer...? Right now I have a Lanzar Max 10'' 1600 Watt but I know thats a peice of shite, I got it free though. Stuff I have... QSC AMP 2450 DUAL 10 INCH VENTED ENCLOSURE DUAL 10 INCH SEALED ENCLOSURE 2 12'' drivers that sound like crap... lol any idea's? |

Bronze Member Username: Samio866Post Number: 14 Registered: Mar-07 | By the way, I'm using a Logitech 2200 Receiver, I undriled that lil subwoofer and took the positve and negative and put it through the input of the amplifier, so maybe I need to get a better receiver first..? Maybe buy a EQ and a stereo jack 3.5 mm to a 1/4 inch jack? |

Why can't you get 2 Fi Q18s or something else Fi? For that amount of power, I'd recommend Fi, mainly going by the fact you want it LOUD. Oh, and by low price, if you mean cheap, but still good, how about something like this? http://www.tcsounds.com/db500.htm OR http://www.tcsounds.com/tc1000.htm If you bought multiple smaller ones, I'm sure you could still reach a good SPL level. I would recommend a better receiver, but that's me. |

I bought 2 Pioneer Premiers yesterday for $136... [I'll pull it up if u guys really want to see it] which I've heard in real life shaking like hell at a flea market... lol. As I see, obviously low priced (best bang for the buck) does not match with earth shaking subwoofers... any tips on a nice receiver now? That is low priced... that is where I'm cutting my budjet... 150 Max for a good receiver. Any body think thats a good price? The Amplifier I got for free, so yea... |

I'd probably recommend something like this. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Specifications-of-Onkyo-Home-Stereo-Receiver-TX82 22/sem/rpsm/oid/154534/rpem/ccd/productDetailSpecification.do#tabs The only problem there is that you'd have to crossover the stereo audio outputs off it into the QSC to a range the subs could use. It has a great price/performance though. If you don't want to face having to crossover or have more speakers to power this is something I'd recommend: http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Pioneer-A-V-Receiver-VSX-516-K/sem/rpsm/oid/14842 6/catOid/-12949/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do With that you could just run the subwoofer out into the QSC (and mod it if you have to, to let the receiver be able to drive it to full, if you know how to do this). You could also run more spaekers off of it if you have them. The others should have some suggestions as well. |

You are going to get none of those three with your current plans. If you can't do it right, wait until you can afford it. This is the route to simply breaking stuff. What you're describing is something that will get people driving by to call the cops 'cause it's so damned aggravating. Do you have no respect for your neighbors or your hearing? . |
