I got this player with surround speakers and subwoofer as a birtday gift.

However, I can't play DVD's that I bought In Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines (when I used to work there), And this Panasonic that I got is Region 2 (Sweden) (!)

Why regions? Only a qualified idiot could get such an idea!

Please - can anyone help me?
