I own a JVC XV-S 502 SL DVD player for region 1 only but have lots of European Region 2 DVDs coming my way from AMAZON.FR. Can anyone show me how to unlock my DVD and make it region free?

You can't unlock a JVC with the remote. |

It would have to be chip modded, if that's even possible. You need to look into what players can be hacked before buying a player. Most or all Philips players can be easily hacked and are fairly cheap top buy. |
