Just for your info... The dahlquist under that name is not the original high quality dahlquist of years ago. It is the name but not the same company. The real dahlquist was taken over by regner and he makes awesome speakers in the 10k range i believe it is...

The website isnt very good but his products are!

Yes! I own and am familiar with the Dahlquists...
VERY good speakers, especially for the money. The
imaging and clean, tight bass response on these
speakers is especially noteworthy.

My current system consists of QX8's, QX6's, a
QX60C center and a Paradigm PW-2200 sub. Trust
me, this system rocks and I've heard that these
speakers consistently WIN a/b split tests against
Axioms of similar price (but usually a little
pricier), which are highly regarded speakers.

Here's a couple of reviews for you to check out:

You may also want to do a search for Dalquist on
this and other forums, especially Home Theater
Forum where you'll find a ton of happy (ecstatic)
owners and some rave reviews.

IMHO, these speakers are very hard to beat for
the amazing value they present. And even better,
these speakers are being blown out by several
retailers to make way for their new line up
(which is very similar except for a few cosmetic
changes mostly).

You should be able to get a really good deal on
a set of these if you're looking. I would suggest
contacting Marc H at http://www.audioshop.on.ca
and he can set you up with a great set of
speakers for a killer price with this latest
blow out sale.

In fact, I've helped a few others make the leap
to go with Dahlquists, and they've all been
extremely pleased with their decision.

Good luck, and if you have any more questions -
just ask!

Michael
