Help! I bought two sets of speakers, neither of which I'd ever heard of, at a garage sale; a pair of Sound Dynamics RTS-7 tower Speakers and a pair of Alon Lil Rascals bookshelf speakers. They sounded great in the guy's home theater set up, but I'm going to use them basically for music. I have two receivers, a Pioneer Vsx-604s and a Harmon/Kardon 385i, both of which I'm looking to replace. What are your recommendations for a reasonable priced receiver and cd player that would be compatible with either set of speakers? Also, I removed the baffles from the Alon speakers, and I noticed pink insulation had fallen and covered one portal. I pushed it up, but I'm wondering if this will eventually effect the quality of sound. By the way, what do you think of these speakers? I paid $400 for both pair. Was that a fair price, or was I taken?
