for a 2300ft2 room you'll need 5x500subs. That is a room about 40x60=2400.....very large. And, it is not room ft2 but ft3 that matter. A normal 15x20=300ft2 room is a different animal with 8 or 12 foot ceilings. HSU website has a room VOLUME calculator which will help you decide how much sub you can use. IF, as seems likely, you meant CUBIC feet, than, with good placement, you'll be fine with the HSU.....I have one in a near 5000ft3 room and it rocks...
