I decided I wanted something a bit bigger than the LFM, so I stretched my budget a bit and went for the Knight.

Does anyone here have one?

I'm sensing a pattern here... when I mentioned that my NAD's auto turn-on didn't work Nuck suggested hooking them up the clapper.

Worked like a charm.

Seriously, though. I've never heard of Epik subs.

Any good?

I see a problem if you're watching a live music video.

On/off/on/off ... The Clapper!

I have never heard a system with an Epik sub. It reads very well in the ad.

I would like to hear more about them.

Hold the applause.

Im surprised that none of you have heard of Epik, they seem to be SUPER well known over at AVS Forums, where they have a thread specifically about Epik that has over 190,000 views!

I actually went with the Caliber, the thing is a beast, Ill post pics when I get it!

are the Epik more HT oriented, or are they also good for music?

Apparently, they are ok for music.

From what Ive gathered, the Valor is an excellent musical sub, its Epik's only sealed design at this time.

Here is what Craigsub wrote about it:

Listening results: The Valor is a subwoofer which will be the answer to many budget audiophile's dreams. It is an exceptional musical performer from about 18 Hz and up, with a very agile presentation of bass at all times. In our smaller basement theater, using a pretty good high end set up, it amazed listeners in its presentation of the Steely Dan 2AN disc, and also with its slam for HT. It is not an SPL monster like the Castle, but in the right room, it is magic.

If you guys dont know who Craigsub is, or why the hell I keep referring to him, take a look at this thread:

Audiobuff,

I know what youre talking about, after reviewing Craigsub's report and then talking with Chad (owner) at epiksubwoofers, and reviewing other owners remarks on epiks official thread at AVS, I decided to get the Castle and cant wait until it comes.

As a side note, how long did it take to get your knight shipped to your address?

I actually had to cancel my order because of car trouble, but guess what? I saw a guy that was selling his, and I just got back from picking it up!

You WILL not be disappointed! This thing rocks, and I would say it shakes my pants about 5 times harder than the LFM-1 +!

Im going to post some videos of what this bad boy is capable of in the next few, so stay tuned!

Holy crap, AB. That's rather large.

How much does it weigh?

I believe it weighs in at 115lbs, it has me grinning every time I hear it. Its really an amazing sub. I really didnt think there would be a ton of difference going from the outlaw (considering they have the same size amps), but Jeeezus, this puts out like none other, I have never heard anything like it before.

Im trying to get a better camera so I can post some decent vids of the driver in action.
