Are the studios really that much better? Looking at making a purchase, and I can get a pair of studio v2 100's for only $500 more than the Monitor 11's. In your opinion, are they worth $500 more per pair?
Additionally, how due the Studio's v2 match up with the Studio v3 center channels?
I had a similiar questions, The price the dealer listed for studio100 is $2200 and Monitor11 is $1050, Monitor7 is $700, I haven't decided which one I should get, I auditioned monitor7 and studio100 (11 not in stock), I can hear some difference, but for me it is not worthy for the price difference. I guess there must be some room for negotiation since the price I was given is pretty high. Do you mind sharing your price info ?

The v3 are the 2200, unless your getting the v2 in real wood. V2 are 1900. You should be able to easily get 15% off. I'm being offered the v2 for 1400, and I got my monitor 11's for 910, for unshielded.

Did you compare it with any other brands ? Another brand I'm thinking of is Cambridge Soundworks T500. Any comments on that ? How about PSB ? I plan to audition PSB next week.
