heard it thorugh the grapevine a couple months back. JL Audio makes some of the finest car speakers available. MB Quart recently started making home audio speakers and I think they are having a tough time of it.
Has anybody heard good reviews of the MB Quart speakers?

MB Quart has been making home audio speakers for 30 years (since their inception). They actually got into car audio speakers later.
I would disagree that they are having a hard time int he business--they are one of the largest speaker manufacturers in Europe and they have very good market penetration in the EC. They haven't done as well in the US largely because they haven't had good distribution.
Quarts, like Canton, are a difficult speaker load (like most audiophile speakers), so you can't drive them with the usual mass market garbage receiver. It has to be a receiver stable driving a 4 ohm load, so you won't see them at your local Best Buy or Circuit City. They are bright and forward, very clean and articulate speakers. I like them.
