JBL NSP1II and PB10 with JVC JVC RX-DV31SL

i am planning for a home theater system for around $700. i am looking at the jbl northridge nsp 1 II speakers with pb10. since my budget is low, i am thinking to get a receiver and dvd combo from jvc. can anyone give my suggestions about this combo

superfecta
I would go with a reciever that is more powerful and go with a cheap DVD player. Those combos are not very powerful,so you end up upgrading the whole system instead of a component at a time.

I'll just add that the NSP-1 system is a great bang for the buck! The n-24s have one of the flattest frequency responses extant (90-18,000Hz within 2 db!), and are clean as a whistle too. The tradeoff is that they are less efficient than other small speakers. I have an Onkyo 60 watt receiver, however, and they go quite loud. Bear in mind the subwoofer needs more power than than main speakers. I have an SVS sub with a 550 watt amp built in, so they work out fine for me.
