I can get any of the first two subs for less than $400 and I was wondering if there was a better deal out there I'm missing? Oh and which one is better of course?

Thanks,
Jason

My system: Polk CSR (center), Polk R300 (fronts), Polk R150 (rears)

.

I'd go with the Hsu. There has been a recent comparison of several subwoofers in the Hsu price range. Sorry, I can't remember where, but you can probably find it by way of a search engine.

Depending on how frugal you want to be, and how big of an eyesore you want, this might be a decent match for you as well...

Note: Outlaw subs are designed by Dr. Hsu, and Outlaw has a very respectable reputation of its own.

I am very impressed with my HsU. After several years it required a repair which was done locally. The repairman, a musician was blown away by it.

Unless the Dps 10 is miles better than my Dps12, I wouldn't spec it.
It always sounds slow.
It integrates with an open room pretty well, with corner reinforcement, but hangs on too long with just about any music. B-
