I have an HK AVR 225. Polk R50 floor standing speakers for the front. I have a Polk Csi30 for the center. And Polk RTi38 fotr the surrond in the back. I now need to find a sub. The room is about 18 x 12.
I don't want to go over $400. I would rather stay in the $300-$350 range.
I may have polk speakers but i don't want a polk sub the don't sound good. I was looking at velodyne. I want at least a 10 cause 8" bottom out to easy.
Give me ur opinion and if you know where i can get any deals online let me know.

You can take a look at Boston Acoustics PV800, right now GoodGuys has clearance on them (50% off) so it would run about $350 but you have to call around to check if they still have them in stock.

I would suggest a Paradigm PDR10 or PDR12. Both are very good for the money like all Paradigm speakers. You can get either one for under $400 at any Pardigm dealer. With the size of your room I would go with the 12" PDR 12. Good luck.
